While you’re exploring and enjoying the environment, your tour leader will be on hand to provide assistance when needed. A local Batlokoa guide will also be provided.

The best way to learn is to use the theory and technical aspects immediately, with the guidance from the tour leader you will be able to put new skills to use right away in the field.

Situated in the Northern Drakensberg at the foot of the magnificent Sentinel Peak and looking across to the Drakensberg’s Mont-Aux-Sources and Amphitheater, Witsieshoek Mountain Lodge is right in the heart of it all. With endangered bearded vultures soaring overhead, this beautiful mountainous area is home to a variety of landscapes, rich flora and fauna and some incredible views of one of the worlds most iconic mountain ranges.

Sean Konig is a landscape photographer residing in Harrismith. His love for the Drakensberg has taken him on many travels and adventures. With his experience in photography and knowledge of the Berg, he makes sure that groups are taken to some of the very best spots to enable the participants to take their very own epic photos of the world famous Drakensberg.
