The complex comprises a central lodge building and 12 individual chalets, each with its own deck overlooking a vast salt pan.  Owned by the ‡Khomani San (Bushman) and Mier communities,  !Xaus Lodge is commercially managed by Transfrontier Parks Destinations. !Xaus Lodge is FTTSA (Fair Trade) certified.

Guests participate in dune walks, visit the local Bushman at a re-created craft village, go on evening drives and experience the night sky. Here you will learn about the wonder of the Kalahari - the plants and animals, and how man has integrated into this wilderness area.

The tariff includes accommodation in en-suite chalets, all meals, activities and transfer from Kamqua Picnic site.
