Drakensberg Sentinel Hike

Starting at the Sentinel Car Park, the Sentinel Hike offers one of the world’s greatest one-day hikes: following the pathways up to the famous Chain Ladders and up along the top of the Drakensberg to the top of Tugela Waterfall – the highest falls in the world. Mountain guides are available and can be booked through Witsieshoek Mountain Lodge.

Beyond the iconic Sentinel Peak Trail, there are over 80kms of hikes from the front door of Witsieshoek.  This makes for at least three days of hikes from the Lodge.
